Installing

  1. Close AutoCAD and BricsCAD.
  2. Unzip the download.
  3. AutoCAD: copy the Stippla.bundle folder into %APPDATA%\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins. AutoCAD loads it at start-up; look for the Stippla ribbon tab.
  4. BricsCAD: in the Stippla.BricsCAD folder, open the folder for your version (for example V26), and load StipplaBcad.dll with the NETLOAD command.
  5. Stippla Viewer: run StipplaViewer.exe. It needs no installation.
The trial does not start when you install. It starts the first time you import a point cloud, and STPLICENSE shows how many days are left.

Buying a licence

  1. Type STPLICENSE (or click Licence on the Stippla ribbon) and copy your machine code.
  2. Choose a plan on the pricing page and enter the machine code at checkout.
  3. Your licence key arrives by email. Paste it into STPLICENSE and click Activate.

LAZ files

LAZ is compressed LAS. To open it, download the free laszip64.exe from LASzip and put it in Stippla’s Tools folder.
